How Much is My Car Worth?

How Much is My Car Worth?

Cincinnati Car Wreck Attorney and Kentucky Auto Accident Lawyer

Want to know how much is my car worth, the following resources are available to assist with assessing value of your automobile:

DUI Should You Take the Breath Test

People always ask me if they should take the breath test or not if they are ever pulled over by the police and suspected of drinking & driving. Unfortunately, the answer is "it depends" here's why: Some attorneys believe that you should always refuse the breath test, because you are only giving the police evidence against you that will help convict you. That is true if you are going to fail the breath test. But, consider this, if you refuse the breath test, you will automatically get a license suspension for the refusal. Also, the prosecutor is not likely to offer a "reckless" or a "wet reckless" just because you refused. The prosecutor is going to examine other evidence, i.e., slurred speech, blood shot eyes, odor of alcoholic beverage, whether you are steady on your feet or not, etc. If you refuse the breath test, you will likely have to convince a jury (or a judge in a bench trial) that you are not guilty of DUI. In a jury trial in Kentucky, the jury will decide whether you are guilty, then they will decide your punishment. For first time offenders convicted, the jury will select a range between 2-30 days in jail and that will be how many days you do in jail.

What to Expect from a Lawyer

Not sure what to expect from a lawyer? You should always call and talk to the lawyer first. If the lawyer makes you feel comfortable and you feel as though the lawyer can help you then you should consider meeting with the lawyer and hiring the lawyer.

Insurance Rates After A DUI

An alcohol-related car accident and subsequent drunk-driving conviction can bring many negative consequences into your life, possibly including jail or prison time, a criminal record, car repair or replacement, restitution, guilt and grief over harm to others, higher insurance premiums, a civil lawsuit, fines, court and administrative fees, community service, alcohol education, substance-abuse treatment, social stigma, restrictions on or revocation of your drivers license, attorneys fees, and restrictive probation. If you are arrested for or charged with drunk driving, a lawyer from Law Offices of Christopher L. Jackson, L.L.C. in Covington, Kentucky or Cincinnati, Ohio can advise you about your legal rights and help you fight the charges.
